Bridgewater Police Department Re-Accreditation Community Announcement
Chief Christopher Delmonte is pleased to announce that a team of assessors from the Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 through Thursday, June 6, 2019 to conduct an on-site re-Accreditation assessment. The Department has been an Accredited police agency since 2016 and must undergo a re-assessment every three years.

The Police Chiefs of Plymouth County announce that Plymouth County Outreach (PCO) is supporting a bill filed last week that would allow law enforcement officers — in addition to medically trained personnel — to provide civilians with the overdose-reversing drug Narcan (naloxone) and train them on how to administer the drug.
