On the morning of January 21, 2015 an official from the Bridgewater Raynham School Department informed the Bridgewater Police School Resource Officer that one of the school bus drivers turned in a .22 caliber bullet that was found on the school bus by one of the students.
As a result of the finding, the Bridgewater Police School Resource Officer and other Bridgewater Police Investigators interviewed every student that was transported on the bus. The interviews involved students from three different schools ranging from grade 4 through High School.
Through the interviews, Bridgewater Police Investigators were able to locate the source of the bullet. No weapon was recovered and it is believed that there is no weapon associated with the bullet being brought on to the bus.
The matter is still under investigation at this time.
