Civilian ALICE Training

Civilian Response Training to Active Shooter/Violence Incidents

This two-night training program is intended to give community members an introduction to the ALICE model (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) of self-defense in the event of an armed intruder or other critical incident in the home, out in public or in the workplace.

The program, instructed by Bridgewater Police Officers, will combine classroom instruction with hands-on scenario based training exercises. Classes will be limited in size but there is no cost for the program.

Business owners, managers and those who run community organizations and groups are encouraged to sign up for a training session with your employees and staff.

To register for an upcoming session or to express interest in participating in a training session, please contact LT. Carl MacDermott at cmacdermott@bridgewaterma.org.
