Registration for the Third Annual Bridgewater Police 5K & 1M Kids Fun Run is now open. This year’s race will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24 and all proceeds from the event will benefit The Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) Charity.
The Kids Fun Run will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K at 9:00 a.m. Children participating in the Fun Run must be accompanied by an adult or guardian for the entire event.
New for 2016: Bib pick up with be held on Friday, Sept. 23 at the Cole-Yeaton Senior Center, 10 Wally Krueger Way, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Bridgewater Police will be offering a pasta dinner during bib pick-up, which participants can sign up for when registering for the race. Tickets for dinner are $5 per person and children under 12 are free.
